About
Shabaz Hodjati founded Dena Technologies in 2001 with a strong focus on highly dedicated staff and the newest equipment. Today, we maintain that mantra with a commitment to building partnerships with satisfied customers.

Rapid expansion began in 2006 as management focused on building customer base and reputation. Sohail Kamal was brought on board to manage partner development, and the organization moved to Burnaby from Abbotsford, expanding in both space and personnel. As the company success stories mounted, Sohail was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2008, as the needs of the company progressed from partnership development to brand plans and effective marketing management, multidisciplinary project management and budget administration.

In 2007, equipment was purchased from Essemtec in Switzerland, which furthered Dena's ability to turnaround PCB assemblies quickly, with quicker setup and automatic IC laser alignment. Blake Bamford, a production supervisor for Dena for two years, was promoted to production manager, where he has been instrumental in refining production processes and improving quality. A production guru, he is quickly becoming the go to person for defining requirements and implementing quicker, more quality focused assemblies.

In 2009, Dena took a giant step to bring Sharon Storoshenko on board. A sales and distribution veteran with 15 years experience, working at Electrosonic and CircuitTest, she brings an operational efficiency and strong materials handling to her role as Operations Manager.

2010 was a year of expansion and growth. A new president was appointed with the hiring of Jean-Pierre Ostrander. He brings 15 years of experience in electronic manufacturing. Also Tige Gibson was hired as the Electronics Engineer. His expertise and knowledge of electronics brings Dena Technologies to the forefront of the industry. Flow and process control became a priority creating more efficiency for the company. A larger oven was purchased to accommodate larger runs and more complex builds.
