Dena Technologies wishes all of our clients, colleagues, family and friends Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2017.
We will be shutting down as usual between Christmas and New Year’s and return to full operation January 3, 2017.
It’s been a busy year and we are trying to get out many orders before the holidays.
We should also let you know that Chinese New Year is early in 2017. This is a major holiday in China and it is very disruptive to factory scheduling. Officially, Chinese New Year is Saturday, January 28, 2017 and employees are entitled to one week vacation, but in practicality people often take two weeks until the Lantern Festival on February 11, and on top of that they may take up to a week on either side of that to travel back to their home town, so factories will be unreliable for a week before CNY and three weeks after. We recommend placing orders for circuit boards shipping from offshore by January 7 unless you are comfortable with delays into March.
We have PCB factories in Vancouver and Toronto with competitive pricing, but keep in mind they may also be burdened by increased orders stemming from the China factory closures.
